Happy Tuesday!
Halfway to.. Thursday.
Ha ha, sorry. I guess today isn’t a day of significance, but all at the same time it is.
For me at least.
I had mentioned in my previous blog post that I had some exciting news to share today. I was going to wait until tonight to share, but i’m way overflowing with excitement and blessings, so I guess i’ll tell now.
First of all
This has never applied so accurately to my life. After weeks, and months of prayer, I was presented with the opportunity to further progress in my career just a couple of weeks ago. Before I knew it I was offered a job, and I accepted!
Hear that? I’m starting a new job!
This is God answering prayers and giving me an opportunity to really kick start my career. I’m not going to give too many details for the sake of my own personal privacy, but this place really is a blessing. During my interview I was made to feel very awesome about myself, like I was really really wanted at this place. It will be a place where I get to learn all kinds of new things, and meet new people. Not to mention, I have a really awesome boss, who works a lot like I do, and shares a passion for photography. PLUS PLUS PLUS!
On top of that I am going to take this opportunity to grow closer to the Lord during my 45 minute drive to work in the morning. What better time to spend alone time with Him than in the car? I am oh so thankful for this time I have been given.
Coffee. I will be close to my favorite coffee shop as well, but I promised Dyllon I wouldn’t spend all of my money there.
But in all seriousness, this is going to be amazing. I will be able to get a kick start on my savings, work with a group of really talented people, become a morning person, talk to God more, and a big thing, will be practicing my independence a little bit more, given that I won’t be as close to home every day, like I am currently at the newspaper.
Three cheers (well really infinite cheers)
For everyone who has supported me, built me up, and made me the person I am today.
I am fully aware of myself, and I am well equipped to take on this new milestone just in time for 2015.
Challenges will come but I know i’m ready for them.
I'll end this with my happy face, because I am oh so thankful, and for once not ashamed of my toothy smile and chipmunk cheeks. Just before posting this.
I am a soujourner.
Let’s start a new journey. Join me (:
